In last few years AETRL has establish its forte in Per-capita validation and Characterization of Solid waste assignments. AETRL has collected and analyzed solid wastes samples from more than 20 towns located at different parts of India. Some of the key assignments completed are:

• Solid Wastes Characterization and Assessment study under the project entitled Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Management Project for Zone-II of Telangana (India).
• Study for Municipal solid waste physical and chemical characterization and validation of the per capita waste generation from the households at Shivpuri and Guna ULBs, Madhya Pradesh- (India).
• Study for Municipal solid waste physical and chemical characterization and validation of the per capita waste generation from the households at at Joda and Barbil ULBs of Keonhar district, Odisha. (India).
